Whether it's the grandchildren dressing up and romping around the gardens, the birth of spring each year in my lilacs and dogwoods, an early morning beach where the ocean deposited treasures the night before or my animals sleeping peacefully in an open window.
These things are magical to me.
Moments that will be gone sometimes with the blink of an eye. A camera can save them & bring those moments back time after time.
To capture little pieces of time (the common and not so common) and validate the wonders that are all around us, all the time...That's what I try to do. Ahhhhaaa...I believe I will make that my quest!
I used to photograph "events" for clients such as weddings, graduations, birthdays, reunions and I occasionally do special settings with props & costumes. It's funny how people like to "dress up" particularly in medieval costumes for photo portraits.
I also create painted, sketched, surreal and metallic effects with photo manipulation with software and I love restoring old photos and making new pics look old.
