I did not take these photos. They  were from the first half of the century, and I wasn't born until the second half. They have been passed down to me, and I thought they should be shared.

BEFORE I WAS BORN

These photos are of my much missed Mother-in-Law, MARGUERITE "BUNNY" DAY She was born in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia and grew up in Washington D.C. during the depression. The pictures on this page are from those places & times. Life was very hard in those days but she always shined...even up to her last days on this earth. She was always a free spirit and truly loved life, and everything in it, without prejudice or reservation.
