Throughout most months we have some kind of "drive" going on.  Particularly just before and during the fall and winter holidays.  Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons are stressful  and often sad times for families that do not have enough money to buy a turkey or "wished for" presents for their young children and teens.  Elderly citizens need extras during these times too.  Sometimes just someone to talk to or share a cup of cheer with (non-alcoholic of course). Our time is our most precious donation.    We try to secure donations of food, clothing and toys  for the surrounding churches that have a program to help families, who need just a little extra.  Your own cash or check donations should be given directly the the organization of your choice.  If we all gave just a little, it would add up to a lot!
